Winter Activities

Unique, Locally Owned and Operated, Affordable, Family-Friendly

Groomed corduroy snow, glistening like diamonds in the morning sun, a large parking lot with easy access to three lifts, lift tickets that won’t swallow up last week’s pay check, NO lift lines, groomed green and blue runs, fabulous tree skiing as well as over 100 acres of black diamond runs. Just a few of the great offerings at White Pine Resort, located an easy 10 mile drive up the hill from Pinedale, WY.  Winter activities at White Pine include downhill skiing and snowboarding, tubing, as well as 35km of free looping Nordic ski trails.  Two lifts service groomed downhill runs and the small terrain park offers jumps and slides.  Another lift services a popular tubing hill.

Spending time at White Pine Resort is like stepping back in time where a visitor will rediscover great customer service; you will be welcomed as family, where there’s something for everyone. A small gift shop is on site where you can pick up a new pair of gloves, goggles or beanie, a rental shop offering a wide selection of skis and snowboards, book a lesson or simply grab a hot chocolate (or hot toddy) and enjoy the mountain views.

Kids are our VIP’s. Inquire about the White Pine Junior Snowsports Club, send them out skiing to discover our giant dragon, Wilbur, and his Enchanted Forest or perhaps enjoy an afternoon of fun on the tubing hill.

NEWLY ADDED LAST SEASON! Inquire about White Pine’s FIRST EVER Ladies Ski Club!  Want to make new friends? Hang with others on the slopes or on the patio with like-minded ladies?!? From never-ever skiers to intermediate and advanced skiers, this is a chance for you to improve your skills and enjoy a ladies club atmosphere.

If the ski hill is not for you, adjacent to the mountain is 35 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails and plenty of places to take a hike (on snowshoes) and discover the trails left by our neighborly wildlife – moose, elk, deer, antelope and even smaller critters.

You are invited to stay overnight with us in one of our luxury slope-side cabins and we can guarantee that you will be first on the slopes the next morning.
