Adopt a Trail

White Pine Ski Resort is thrilled to announce a new trail stewardship program!  New this year, we are inviting local businesses and organizations to assist with necessary trail maintenance up at White Pine Ski Area through our new Adopt-A-Trail program.   Mountain bike trail adoption options coming soon!

Hiking, biking and ski trails motivate us to get outside.  They keep us healthy and allow us to experience the wonder and beauty of the forest which surrounds our local community.  But all trails, even ski trails, require care and maintenance.  White Pine’s ski trails specifically require additional maintenance to prepare for prime early winter skiing and grooming such as clipping tree saplings, removing debris & trash, or sometimes even clearing entire trees which have fallen and become a hazard to any outdoor enthusiast.

This program will give local businesses and organizations, such as yours, an opportunity to sponsor your favorite ski trail at White Pine Ski Resort and have your name placed on signs at the top of your sponsored trail.  Each sponsor supports its adopted trail through an option of four different levels of financial and/or volunteer support. Volunteers are critical to the success of any trail maintenance program. Their work contributes to the safety, beauty and sustainability of all of our trails and benefits the entire community.

Please refer to our trail map for reference.  All names of White Pine’s Ski trails and levels of contribution sponsorship are listed below. Contributions of any kind (financial or volunteering) are greatly appreciated.  A 501c(3) tax donation receipt is available upon request.

For more information, or to sponsor a trail that is available on our Adopt-A-Trail listing, please contact Katie at 307-367-6606 or katie@whitepineski.com.
