White Pine is surrounded entirely by National Forest and operates under Special Use Permit.  As such, White Pine reserves the right to restrict terrain access at its own discretion within White Pine permit boundaries. Winter terrain access is regulated through a series of signs and rope lines; all erected and maintained in the interest of public safety. Violating White Pine boundary lines, posted warnings, and signs can result in long, strenuous, cold and dark search and rescue efforts in areas that most often do not have cell service.
Traveling beyond the marked area boundary or going under any rope at any time is at skiers’ own risk with no ski patrol services offered.
