Dog Policy

Winter Operations:
White Pine loves dogs! However, for the safety (and hygiene) of our guests we do not permit them to be near the lifts or lodge, to ride the lifts, or to be on the ski trails during our winter hours of operation. Dogs are allowed in other outdoor public areas but must be on a leash.  All pet owners are responsible for proper clean up and disposal of their own pet’s excrement; this does not mean bag it and hang it in the nearest tree, nor does it mean bag it and leave it on the ground in the parking lot!

Summertime in the Campground:
Out of courtesy to other campers and to wildlife, ALL dogs must be actively supervised by their human and be on a leash at all times while in the campground.  All pet owners must clean up after their own pets please.

Summertime While on White Pine Property (while hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, passing through, etc.):
All dog owners must be respectful of others enjoying the outdoors, as well as of wildlife.  All pet owners are responsible for proper clean up and disposal of their own pet’s excrement while on White Pine property; this does not mean bag it and hang it in the nearest tree, nor does it mean bag it and leave it on the ground in the parking lot!

Anyone who blatantly fails to respect these policies, will be asked to leave the premises.
